fishing tournament for largest and most fish. Ten of
Nassau's charter fishing boats participated in the mini

charter that ended in Eleuthera and decided to fish for
the fun of it on their way back home to Nassau. |

11' 3" Blue Marlin was caught today (May 30th.) on
charter boat Chubasco III by Hank & Sandra Cheves
of Charleston, South Carolina, who are visitors staying
at the Atlantis Resort. Capt. Mike Russell and Mate Evon
Colebrook were the crew on Chubasco III. The hugh 550
lb. Blue Marlin was caught approximately 7 miles north
of Paradise Island. The marlin was hooked about 9:40 a.m.
and was finally boated at 12:15 p.m., a 2 hour and 35
minute fight which left both anglers and crew exhausted. |
