Capt. Mike Russell (right) owner and operator of Chubasco Charters. Capt. Mike a seventh generation Bahamian, comes from a long line of seafaring captains. His father was a seaman for many years, both of his grandfathers were boat captains and one of his great grandfathers captained a three mast sailing schooner for many years hauling freight between the Islands.

Captain Mikes first love of the sea was racing sailboats. Before settling down to his charter fishing career, he raced for many years in International Events and represented the Bahamas in two Olympic Games. A competitor by nature Capt. Mike takes pride in his fishing achievements and the many fishing tournaments that he has won.

Adam (left) is one of Capt. Mikes sons. Adam has been around boats all his life. At the age of four months, Adam made the crossing from Florida to Nassau when Capt. Mike purchased his first boat Chubasco the 34' Trojan. He is presently attending College and mates with Capt. Mike when not in class.

Capt. Greg Brown (left) is the son of a deceased well known Charter Boat Captain (Capt. Ulis Brown). Born in Nassau Capt. Greg has been around charter fishing boats all his life. He worked with his father as a mate and captain and his fishing experience goes back over 25 years.

.
Capt. Malcolm Ingraham (sitting top right) has been with Chubasco Charters over 6 years. He trained and worked as a mate with Capt. Mike on Chubasco III for many years before acquiring his captains license. He is now captain on Chubasco and is proving himself to be an outstanding captain. Capt. Mike had this to say about Malcolm, "he was an excellent mate, he tended his lines and was always attentive to the guest's needs. It is apparent from the many compliments I have been getting regarding the service on Chubasco, that Malcolm as a captain has continued to apply the same fine qualities he had as a mate."

Evon (sitting lower left) is a new addition to Chubasco Charters. Evon grew up in Abaco and has been around the water and fishing most of his life, he has worked as a mate for about 3 years. His pleasant attitude and attentiveness to his duties as a mate is well appreciated by those that fish with him.
