Reservation & Charter Info

What are the prices and times for your charters?
Please visit our Boats & Services page.

We would like to join up with other persons to make up a charter.
Due to the problems that we have encountered with persons canceling at the last minute, resulting in cancellation of a charter and inconvenience to the other guests booked, we only do private charters.

Can I make reservations when I arrive in Nassau, or do I have to book them now?
It is best to make reservations ahead of time. This will allow you to better choose the day, time and boat you prefer especially if you are on a tight schedule. It is possible that we will have a boat available, without a reservation, but maybe not the boat of your choice or for your desired time.

What do I have to do to book and confirm a charter?
Advance reservations are confirmed with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card. Go to our Credit Card Authorization Form print and fill it out and fax it to us.

Can we do a combination of fishing, snorkeling, sightseeing and picnicking?
Yes, we can split your charter up if you would like and do a combination charter. It is difficult on half-day charters to do a combination of all four. We can do a combination of any two on half-day charters, or on full day charters we can do all four.

What happens if I have to cancel my charter?

Our cancellation policy is 50% penalty if the charter is not cancelled at least 96 hrs. prior to the scheduled trip and a full charge if not cancel 48 hours prior to charter. There is no cancellation charge if cancelled due to weather. Please see cancellation policy on Reservations page.

We are a large group and need more boats than you have, can you arrange for additional boats to accommodate our group?
Not a problem, we can arrange with a few of our dependable competitors for additional boats.

Does the charter price include gratuities and if not what is the usual gratuity for the crew?
Gratuities are not included in the charter price. It is customary to tip the crew 15% of the charter cost. Of course more gracious tips are highly appreciated and are usually awarded for exemplary performance. Feel free to reward our crew based on your satisfaction.

Fishing Catch

What type of fish are you catching now?
Fish migrate through the Bahamas and it depends on the time of year. Please visit our Bahamas Fishing Calendar page for what’s catching and when.

What months are best for Marlin fishing?
April, May, June and July are typically our best months with May and June being the best.

I would like to go Bonefishing while vacationing in Nassau.

There is really no bonefishing available in Nassau. We suggest you fly to Andros Island or Eleuthera, those are the two nearest areas for good bonefishing.

Can I have my trophy fish mounted?
Yes, we are agents for Gray Taxidermy, Inc., the worlds largest marine taxidermy company located in Pompano Beach, Florida.

What do we do with the fish we catch?
It is very difficult to take fish back home. If you can get it frozen, you are allowed by Bahamas Fisheries Regulations to take 8 lbs of fillets per person back home. Cruise Ship Regulations do not allow guests to bring fish back on board. Some clients will take some of their catch to a local restaurant and have it prepared for dinner. Some will have us arrange to have it mounted as a trophy, the majority leave it with the crew.

Day of Charter

What is included in the price of the charter? Are food and beverages included?
Everything involved with fishing and all snorkeling equipment is included as well as a cooler of ice. Food and beverages are not included, however with advance notice, we can put food and beverages on board at our cost price.

What do we need to bring?
We ask that you bring the following for yourself and your fishing party: Sun screen, lotion and chap stick. Food and drinks (if you have not arranged for us to have them on board for you). Motion sickness remedies depending on sea conditions and your tolerance to motion (taken at least one hour before the trip). Shoes that you won't mind getting wet and won't slip on the deck (Please No black soled shoes). A foul weather jacket depending on weather (wind breaker or water resistant jacket).
